Kinoco AHCC Review And ~~Giveaway~~

I hate being sick!!

When I was a kid, it was a great reason to get out of school!!

Now that I am an adult, I don't have my Mom to take care of me, I still have to get up no matter what because of the kids, and I usually can't get out of work!!

This time of year in New England is murder on peoples immune systems.

One day its 60*, the next its 20*.

I try to do whatever I can to keep from getting sick.

When Brittany asked me if I wanted to review Kinoko AHCC, I of course had to give it a try!!

I haven't gotten sick sense I started taking it, so I hope that's a sign it works!!!

The only down side to taking the AHCC is that you have to take 4 pills a day!!!

I am horrible with remembering to take medicine (ask my Doctors!!)

Kinoko AHCC 250mg 60 Capsules

Kinoko Helps to eliminate countless types of irritants, germs, pollutants, free radicals and other health compromising substances.

The Number 1 Selling Immune Support Dietary Supplement from Japan.
Physicians in Japan have recommended AHCC to help maintain normal immune function and response since 1987, and AHCC has been shown to be effective for many in numerous clinical studies.

Kinoko AHCC - The Perfect Partner For A Healthy Immune System.
Why do some people seem perpetually healthy, while others are prone to illness? Why are more and more people diagnosed with serious maladies? The answer to these health questions lies in part with your immune system.

AHCC is the perfect partner for a healthy immune system. Every day we are exposed to countless types of irritants, germs a pollutants and free radicals and other health compromising substances. Thankfully, our immune system efficiently and immediately repels the greater majority of these irritants. Unfortunately, the constant onslaught can tax and weaken the immune response, which affects our overall health and well being.

More on AHCC:
Active Hexose Correlated Compound (AHCC), mycelia extracts of cultured basidiomycetes, was examined in animal models to relieve side effects, such as anemia, alopecia and liver injury induced by anticancer drugs. This is a Japanese mushroom extract, AHCC, and medical research shows it can reduce nausea, vomiting, pain, appetite suppression, liver damage, hair loss and immune suppression.

AHCC (Active Hexose Correlated Compound) was developed by the Amino-Up Chemical Company of Sapporo, Japan. It is made from a proprietary hybrid of Shiitake and other medicinal mushrooms grown with rice bran in a liquid medium (a controlled environment like hydroponic gardening for mushrooms), that is then fermented to extract a unique, low molecular weight compound, not common to medicinal mushrooms. The active ingredient in AHCC has been identified as a 5,000 dalton weight molecule with an alpha-glucan structure (a Dalton is a unit of molecular weight equal to one Carbon atom). In contrast, the immune enhancing compounds of most mushrooms are identified as 100,000 to 1,000,000 dalton weight, beta-glucan molecules. AHCC has been the subject of more than 29 published studies since 1986 and is used in over 700 hospitals in Japan, so there is a great deal of scientific evidence that AHCC not only helps to prevent the side effects of chemotherapy, but enhances its primary effectiveness as well.

I wanted to share part of Brittanys email to me with you. I thought this was really funny.

Here are some reasons she and her co-workers came up with for not wanting to be sick!!

Being sick throws off that diet you just re-started on Monday, since we all know the best comfort food is fourteen slices of chocolate cake!

A mom laying in bed is a magnet for dogs that need walking, kids that need feeding and a husband who doesn’t know where you keep the kids pj’s.

Sick days aren’t for YOUR sick days -- they’re only for when the kids get sick!

Your husband can’t even use the microwave, never mind cook dinner!

Kids (and spouses) don’t get the phrase “mommy is sick”.

You really think someone is going to bring you orange juice, or chicken noodle soup in bed??

The mess you find when you get out of bed will make you sicker!

If you get sick, the whole house gets sick -- even the dog (I swear they do it on purpose).

You have to host a sleepover with 15 girls for your daughter’s birthday next week.

And, of course, who’s going to write your blog?

So in honor of the spirit of giving, and not wanting to get sick, I get to give away a bottle of the AHCC to one lucky reader.
