I Was Chosen To Go To NYC For Marvel's The Avengers Movie Screening! #TheAvengersEvent
Yes, you read it right. 24 awesome bloggers and myself will be heading to New York City April 27th-29th for the Tribeca Film Festival's Red Carpet Screening of Marvels The Avengers!!
I am so excited to honor our everyday hero's during this event. Policemen, Firemen, EMT's and our Military Personal. The folks who risk their lives every day to keep us safe and healthy!!
This will be the first time I have gone on an event like this. I am so nervous. There is a lot to plan. What to wear was obviously the first question I had (going dress shopping this afternoon!!)
I went and got my hair cut and dyed on Thursday. That way the highlights calm down (they are very bright right away.)
I know I need to get my nails done, but that will wait until closer so they still look pretty!!
I have a couple different style dresses in mind. I can't wait to show you all what I picked!!
I want to make sure to give a HUGE thank you to Marshall for this opportunity!!! You have no idea how much this means to me!!

With Easter just around the corner, I have been trying to think of new, non candy ideas for the boys baskets.
Every year, between the bunny, my parents, and Ben's family, the boys get too much. We used to bring some of it to work with us, just to spread the wealth!!
So this year, we decided the boys will get one chocolate bunny, and then other fun items. My Mom got them Jelly Bean smelling bath soap, and new sheets for their beds!!
The bunny is filling their basket with toys. One of the great toys from Learning Resources that Doug is getting is the Farmers Market Color Sorting Set.
This is a 30 piece set with 5 Bushel Baskets, and 25 Fruits and Veggies.
Each Fruit or Veggie is colored and can be sorted in it's correct color coded bushel.
It can also be used as a counting game to help teach your child his/her numbers.
What I personally love the most about the set is that it's a harder plastic, which means it will last a long time!! I can't tell you how many times we have bought play food, and it is broken in 10 minutes. This set is perfect.

Tiny Prints Invitation ~~Giveaway~~
As my boys are getting older, and we are starting to sort through some of their things and saying goodbye to the baby items, it makes me sad. It's hard to believe that they are 3 and 6 years old!!
Part of me misses the baby days. Babies are so cute and little. You can dress them up, hug them, and carry them!!
Then again, babies are a lot of work. They sleep in short bursts, have to be fed and changed a lot, and they don't play on their own!! lol
Unfortunately for me, I can't even get a baby fix from anyone else. My siblings are not at that point, and all of Ben's siblings and cousins have had their kids at the same time we did (we are all very similar in age!!)
I can look back and think fondly of the baby days!! One of the things I remember is my baby showers!! Yes, I had two (both for Ben Jr)
Most of my family was in Vermont, and all of Ben's is in Boston. It was just easier to have two showers!!
My families shower was more the traditional route. It was just girls at the shower, and then the boys came afterwards for food!!!
My Mother in Law had a more modern shower with everyone. We have a large family, so it was a lot of fun!!
By accident, I was told that we were having a boy (we didn't want to know) so both showers were full of blues, greens and yellows. No pinks for me!!
Both Mothers got very cute invites for the showers. I saved them!!!
